Architectural Control is something we take seriously and there are some things that are important for you to know. First of all, you cannot bring anything into our community which will not fit through the main entrance without prior approval and an appointment must be set with a member of the board so the additional swing gate can be opened. If you cut our lock you will be charged with destruction of private property.

How to Submit an Architectural Control Request

Per our governing documents, you must submit an Architectural Control Request if you plan to add a fence or building of any type (whether it is prefab or DIY).

This is how you begin that process:

On a sheet of paper hand write out a basic design of your property lines and indicate where the roadway is and the mandatory setbacks. Then draw a box (or whatever it is) to indicate the request and show where on the lot you plan to put it. We will follow up with you on that, this is just a basic design idea you have. I have attached a sample for you to look at.

Go into PayHoa and once you are on your owner account then click on your unit (lot number).

If you are a potential owner, follow the instructions and call our POA phone so you can get the current ACC information to email it in. You will not be added to PayHoa until you close on your property. Do not attempt to bring in anything without prior approval.

Above the image of your lot click on “Requests”

Then click on “Architectural Request”

Click on “New Submission”

Give it a Title (something like “New Shed” or “New Fence” or whatever

Describe what you plan to do and add as much info as possible, including your phone number.

Click on Attachment – Upload

As every phone and computer is different, it’s hard to explain how  to do this for it to work for you. You may need to take a picture of your handwritten plan and save it as a pdf file or you may be able to upload the photo itself. I just scanned mine into my printer, saved it as a pdf and uploaded it. If you cannot upload a file, just tell us in your description and we will contact you and give you other alternative ways of doing this. Ideally we need it here on this form.

A member of our Architectural Control Committee will contact you and follow up.
